A disposable is a device with a prefilled pod and a battery sized exactly to its capacity. You pick it up, unwrap it, take a puff. Even so, it's worth understanding the three parameters that determine whether it suits you.
1. Puff count
The number on the packaging (e.g. 1000+) is a guide – it's based on short puffs of about 1–2 seconds. If you take longer puffs, the pod runs out sooner. For comparison: 1000 puffs corresponds to roughly three packs of traditional cigarettes at the same number of drags.
2. Nicotine strength
In Slovakia and the EU, the maximum is 20 mg/ml. Disposables use almost exclusively nicotine salt, which is smoother on the throat than the same amount of classic nicotine – so 20 mg/ml may not seem strong. If you haven't smoked before, a disposable is not for you; nicotine is an addictive substance.
3. Flavour
The Puff House 1000 Puffs range has 19 flavours. A safe first choice is usually a cooling fruit one (Blueberry Ice, Melon Ice) or Cool Mint. Those switching from cigarettes reach for Tobacco Classic or Mint Tobacco. The packaging colour matches the flavour – in the e-shop you also see it as the product's backlight.
What else to keep in mind
- Mesh coil – more even vaporisation, stable flavour to the last puff.
- Airflow holes – a tighter draw (MTL) is closer to a cigarette.
- Recycling – the device contains a lithium battery; once depleted, it belongs in e-waste.
